Yes, as some one who cares about your pet and about the way we run as a business we are fully insured. Our insurance is with a company called Cliverton, who specialise in pet-related businesses. We are covered for Liability to Animals (care, custody and control), Public Liability and Loss of Keys/Replacement Locks.

We have never had to make a claim on our insurance, but the protection is there if anything were to ever happen. An added bonus is that we have dog collar tags made up with our details on, so if your pet were to ever get loose some one can contact us directly instead of ringing an empty house. If this tag stays on all the time then you also have an extra number on the collar for people to call even if your pet were to escape whilst in your care.

Whilst you are looking for a dog walker or pet sitter this is a very important question to be asking. Many people do dog walking and pet sitting as a hobby to make some extra cash and do not pay the expense of insurance.
