As heard on...
and
Although I have always trained my pets myself...I am not a qualified dog trainer. However I will always give you any advice and help that I can in regard to training your dog.
One thing I would like to assure you on is that I will always be consistent with what you have already taught your dog. During our "Meet and Greet" I will take the time to check what commands you use and in which situations. This is because to you the command "wait" may be the obvious choice when stopping to cross a road. However to a different family they may use the command "stop"...or in fact any other word which seems obvious to them. If you have taken the time and effort to train your dog, I will always make sure that I will re-enforce these commands rather than confusing your dog.
One of my members of staff is currently doing her Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour course and once she has gained her Diploma she will be an approved instructor. So in the future we hope to be able to provde one to one advice sessions for problem behaviour plus puppy and dog training.
